摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To make a formation of bins expandable in number instead of increasing the size of a device, by enlarging an inlet of the paper insertion of each bin in a way of laying down or raising a forklike lever according to the order of paper insertions by bins of a bin block free of reciprocating motion. CONSTITUTION:In case of a sorter, which disposes a lot of paper housing bins 2 at specified intervals in a horizontal direction and is provided with a paper conveying passage 3 and a paper distribution device 4 along a paper insertion port located on the upper part of each bin, a toggle mechanism 10 driven by each forklike lever 9 is installed in each bin 2. In addition, each of bin blocks 13 and 14, laying down or raising the lever 9 in regular sequence, is disposed along the lever 9 whereby each interval between each of bins 2 is designed so as to expand in order according to the order of paper insertions. That is to say, each bin interval of a horizontal sorter can be expanded in a relatively simple mechanism so that the number of bins can be enlarged instead of increasing the size of a device itself and simultaneously an increase in cost for the device is negligible and, what is more, paper housing is still more secured.</p>
