PURPOSE:To obtain a double wall tank having high secondary safety without requiring liquid-proof bank by providing prestressed concrete exterior wall integrally on the outer face of wall at the existing tank. CONSTITUTION:In order to prestress an existing tank 1, a supporting pile 14 for supporting load is driven at the design position then ''Diibel'' 16 is welded with predetermined interval to the side wall 4 and reinforcing bars 17 are arranged while sheath 18 is arranged horizontally up and down as material for applying prestress. Thereafter PC rod and DC wire 19 are inserted into each sheath 18 as material for applying prestress and tensioned to predetermined degree thereafter filled with mortal and cured to form prestressed concrete exterior wall 20 making contact with the side wall 4. |
