PURPOSE:To provide a hydraulic damper giving high damping force in pushing process by housing an inner tube in a cylinder loaded on the outer periphery with a coil spring and housing in the inner tube a piston having a check valve opened only in the pulling process. CONSTITUTION:A hydraulic damper is constituted from an inner tube 2 housed coaxially in a cylinder 1 to form an oil path 3 inside the cylinder 1, a piston 13 slidably inserted into the inner tube 2, a coil spring 22 interposed between a spring carrier 23 fixedly secured to an open end of the cylinder 1 and a spring carrier 24 fitted slidably in the cylinder 1 and a spring case 25. The inner tube 2 is formed provided with oil holes 6, 7 respectively opened to oil chambers A, B, and the piston 13 is constituted provided with an check valve 15 and an oil path 14 opened only in the pulling process. Also, in an end of the inner tube 2 is fitted a bottom piece 5 having check valves 10, 12 used in the pushing and pulling processes, and said oil chamber A communicates to a subtank 32. |
