PURPOSE:To enable to pump-up liquid by utilizing heat energy by a method wherein two heat sources, the temperatures of which are different from each other, are utilized to realize a pumping action through the evaporation and condensation of heat transfer medium between the two heat sources. CONSTITUTION:Hot water is flowed in a heating pipe 6 in order to boil working medium liquid, while cold water is flowed in a cooling pipe 10. When valves 15 and 13 are open under the above-mentioned conditions, the liquid in a feed-out liquid tank 1 is filled through a sucking-up pipe 2 in a working bag body 7. Then when the vales 13 and 15 are closed and valves 12 and 14 are open, the working medium vapor in a boiler 5 enters a pumping chamber 8 through a connecting pipe 17. At this time, the pressure of the working medium vapor compresses the working bag body 7, resulting in pumping-up the liquid in the bag body 7 to an upper receiving liquid tank 4 through a pumping-up pipe 3. |
