PURPOSE:To attain telephone transfer between a private telephone line and a public telephone line by connecting a line controller provided on the private telephone line and a station exchange via an adaptor. CONSTITUTION:When a caller makes a dialing, a signal is sent to the private telephone line 1 via a line controller 2n and sent to a line controller 21 in response to an area number designated via the line 1. The line controller 21 outputs dial information to a designated transfer extension 8. A pushphone signal from the transfer extension 8 is outputted to each telephone number recognition circuit of station exchanges 31, 32 directly. In each telephone number recognition circuit, whether or not the number exists in the subscriber of the own station is recognized, only the station exchange 32 having a telephone set 41 of the responded number is operated, the transfer extension 8 and the telephone set 41 are connected to attain talking with the pushphone 61.
