PURPOSE:To enable the performing of a larger number of keying operations easily in a natural attitude at the home position without lowering the operation efficiency by providing an auxiliary key switch on the panel of a keyboard corresponding to parts of bottom palms of hands. CONSTITUTION:The key center position of a function shift key 6 is arranged 30mm. below the center position of a shift key 2 and 120mm. on the left from the center position of the home position. This is the position where bottom palms are located when finger tips are set at the home position. Both hands are set at the home positions and the function shift key 6 is operated with the bottom palm. As the function shift key 6 is arranged at the operable position by the bottom palm, ten keys as a numeric key group can be operated efficiently by minimizing movement from the home position key. |
