发明名称 PREPARATION OF L-GLUTAMIC ACID BY FERMENTATION METHOD
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve production of L-glutamic acid, by cultivating a strain capable of producing L-glutamic acid in a medium contaiing cane molasses or glucose as a main carbon source, to which a specific amount of seffen waste liquor is added. CONSTITUTION:A strain capable of producing L-glutamic acid is cultivated in a medium having cane molasses or glucose as a main carbon source, containing 50-200mg/dl calculated as a total nitrogen amount of steffen waste liquor obtained as a by-product in preparation process of beet sugar. Consequently, production of L-glutamic acid is improved. The cultivation is more effectively carried out by adding a saccharide to the medium during cultivation in such a way that the total amount of saccharide (g) is <=11 times as much as the total nitrogen amount (mg) of steffen waste liquor at the end of the fermentation.
