NEW MATERIAL:A glyco-related antigen (hereinafter abbreviated to GRA), isolated from cancerous cell membrane components, and having the binding ability to lectin receptor binding antibodies. USE:An antiulcer agent, capable of specifically acting on cancerous cells having a glyco-related antigen (GRA) and inducing cancericidal lymphocytes, with low toxicity, and administrable intravenously, subcutaneously and intramuscularly as a liquid solution, suspension, etc. in 0.001-1,000mug/kg dose expressed in terms of saccharide. PROCESS:Cell membrane components are separated from cancerous cells having a glyco-related antigen (GRA), e.g. cultivated or transplanted cancerous cells, by the homogenate method, etc., treated and bound to an antibody (hereinafter abbreviated to GRA antibody) capable of binding to lectin receptors to separate and prepare the GRA. The separation of the GRA antibody and GRA is advantageously carried out by the affinity chromatography. |
