摘要 PURPOSE:To transmit the state of a high temperature part in a quick and simple way with high accuracy, by using an optical fiber made of a material having a high melting point. CONSTITUTION:Both the core part of an optical fiber 41 and a metallic pipe 42 coating the fiber 41 have extremely small diameters and having flexible performance. The core part of the fiber 41 can withstand up to a high temperature of 2,000 deg.C, and the pipe 42 uses a heat-resistant alloy such as tungsten, molybdenum, etc. and also can withstand up to 2,000 deg.C. Thus the fiber 41 can withstand a high temperature. The red heated surface part of a high temperature generating part 1 is detected at the tip of a sensing part 4 of the fiber 41, and this information is transmitted to a rear edge part 43. In such a way, it is possible to obtain a device which can immediately transmit via the fiber 41 whether or not the relevant heat generating part reaches a prescribed high temperature regardless of the presence or absence of electric conduction.
