PURPOSE:To obtain a photographic element for a two-sheet diffusion transfer method with superior bonding strength in a wet state by successively forming a neutralizing layer, a timing layer, a primer layer contg. amorphous gelatin as the principal component, and a photographic layer contg. hydrophilic org. colloid. CONSTITUTION:A neutralizing layer made of cellulose acetate hydrogen phthalate, polyacrylic acid or the like is formed on a support made of paper, polyethylene terephthalate or the like, and a timing layer made of carboxy-ester- lactone or the like is formed on the neutralizing layer. A primer layer contg. amorphous gelatin such as alkali treated gelatin, acid treated gelatin or acetylated gelatin as the principal component is formed on the timing layer, and a photographic layer contg. hydrophilic org. colloid is formed on the primer layer to obtain a photographic element for a two-sheet diffusion transfer method. The element has improved bonding strength between the timing and photographic layers in a wet state. |
