PURPOSE:To promote lubricating oil to be easily filled and drained while a moving distance in the shaft direction of a sun gear to be easily adjusted, by providing an opening, through which the sun gear can be inserted, in the gear carrier of a wheel hub and closing said opening by a plug. CONSTITUTION:A driving shaft 2 and planetary gears are housed in a wheel hub 4. An opening 20, through which a sun gear 11 can be inserted, is provided in a gear carrier 13 of the wheel hub 4, and a plug 41 closes said opening 20. The opening 20 is used as a port for filling and draining lubricating oil while as an oil level gage. While adjustment of a moving distance delta in the shaft direction of the sun gear 11 is performed by adjusting thickness of a shim 44. |
