The invention relates to a remote automatic firing target changer, permitting the use of detached targets while offering noteworthy reliability and ease of use. It comprises a support 1 for virgin targets; an apparatus 2, fixed onto a centrally-mounted movable lever 3, creates an air underpressure when the lever 3 is in the horizontal position in such a way as to hold a virgin target to itself; when it is again in the vertical position, this underpressure ceases and the target falls into the guide 6 followed by a slide 7 where it is stopped in front of the firing orifice by a trap door 8, opening of which permits its removal into a toboggan 9 opening out in a compartment where the worn out targets are stored. Moreover, there exists a system for receiving bullets 11 equipped with a drawer 11c into which the pulverised lead falls. <IMAGE>
