PURPOSE:To provide an indexing device which has a simple construction and a high rotational accuracy and in which divided positions are completely secured, indexing to a small number of positions such as two positions and three positions can be effected and the change in the number of indexed positions and the manufacturing of members relating to the change are facilitated. CONSTITUTION:In an indexing device for various machine tools, an intermediate support shaft 13 is secured on a casing 1. A rotatable sleeve 14 is fitted on the shaft 13. A star wheel 15 corresponding to a number of indexed positions is secured on the sleeve 14. A main driving gear 16 corresponding to the number of indexed positions is secured by an anti-rotation pin 17 knocked in the sleeve 14. A feed cam 20, which is engaged with the star wheel 15, is clamped on a shaft 19 by a screw. An indexing cam 23, which turns a lever, is clamped on the cylindrical part 20a of a cam 20 by a screw. As a result, the change in the number of indexed positions and the manufacturing of members relating to the change are facilitated. |
