PURPOSE:To prevent the breakdown of a ceramic and an embedding metal in the stage of embedding the ceramic by casting in the metal by disposing beforehand ceramic fibers, etc. having a small coefft. of thermal expansion in the circumferential edge of the part of the ceramic to be embedded by casting then casting the molten metal. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic or carbon fibers having a small coefft. of thermal expansion are beforehand disposed in the circumferential edge of the part of a ceramic to be embedded by casting; thereafter a molten metal is cast. Then the composite material of the ceramic or carbon fiber and the metal is formed in the circumferential edge part of the ceramic to be embedded by casting, whereby the coefft. of thermal expansion is decreased and the breakdown of the ceramic member and the metallic member by the residual stress of the embedment by casting is prevented. |
