A device for inserting exposed photographic paper strips into paper web developing machines in daylight is disclosed, which exhibits a housing to be sealed in a lightproof manner and a plurality of guiding devices, accommodated therein, to guide each respective paper strip with a lateral displacement from a feed slit, to which a film cassette can be connected, to the input end of the developing machine. Each guide device consists of a front and a rear guide channel for a paper strip, which are disposed parallel to the axis laterally offset relative to one another and are connected to one another by means of a positive guiding such as an obliquely set tube for the helical transfer of the paper strip. In a shaft to be opened, the front end of each photographic paper strip can be clamped, in daylight, to a draw belt of the developing machine.
