The invention relates to a floor heating system, in which hot heating water is conducted through pipes laid in the floor, the pipes being arranged immediately under the surface of the floor in laying channels on the underside of floor panels. The laying channels form a regular pattern which is designed in such a manner that the ends of the laying channels of floor panels lying next to one another open into one another. The floor panels furthermore have lateral connection elements which make it possible to assemble them into slabs.
