The invention relates to a refrigerated counter having a space (3) for goods and a lower structure provided below the latter and having cold air channels extending from the lower structure to the space (3) for goods for passage of the cold air circulated by an air flow generator. In order to achieve an optimum cold air flow path in a simple construction, it is proposed that the space (21) below the bottom (B) of the space for goods be divided by two vertical walls (41), extending from the side walls of a hood (H) up to the transverse side ends of the space (3) for goods, into two longitudinal chambers (I, II), one (I) of which is assigned to the front-side slot (19) and the other (II) to the air flow channel (20) which opens out into the space in front of the air flow generator (11). <IMAGE>
