PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of availability in a wire chip accumulation case so remarkedly higher than ever before, by installing a spent electrode wire disposer in a wire-cut electric-discharge machine, while making up the machine so as to perform ordinary wire-cut electro-discharge machining. CONSTITUTION:A tilting plate 2 having a function of guiding wire chip 6 dropping from a cutting device is installed in the upper part of a wire chip accumulation case 1. This plate 2 is rocked in a vertical motion centering on a fulcrum point 5 with a cam 3 driven by an electric motor 4. With this rocking motion, the dropping chips 6 are uniformly dispersed around the case 1. In addition to this construction, when the plate 2 is made to perform a rotative motion in a horizontal plane by using a secondary rotary mechanism comprising a combination of sliding members along circular passages being orthogonalized with each other, it is further effective as a useful structure that wire chips are uniformly dispersed around the case 1. Thus, the efficiency of availability in the case 1 can be distinctly improved. |
