The cross-linking process involves heating the blend of 100 wt.% of straight-chained polyester series resins anhd 0.55 wt.% of powders of copper or copper or copper contg. compds. at above m.p. of resins. Inorganic copper compds. are cupric oxide, cuprec oxide, cuprous chloride, cupric chloride, cuprous bromide, cupric bromide, cuprous iodide, and etc. Organic copper compds. are copper salts of acetic acid, naphthenic acid, oleinic acid, stearic acid, dimethyldithiocarbamic acid. |
