1. Sheet feeder having a height-adjustable sheet stacking device (1) containing the sheets to be printed in a rotary printing machine, characterised in that a second sheet stacking device (2) for depositing a stack of extra sheets (spoils) (4) parallel to its edge is arranged next to one free side of the sheet stacking device (1), in that there is provided at least one dividing tongue (9a, 26a), which can be guided in between two extra sheets in the stack of extra sheets (4) to divide off the extra sheet stack (4) in order to transfer a pack of extra sheets (4a) to the sheet stack (3), and in that the pack of extra sheets (4a) can be pulled or pushed on to the sheet stack (3) by extra sheet transport means (9; 9, 20, 21, 22, 23; 26, 27, 28, 29, 30). |
