PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of the meter of a battery capacity display section of a motor car having a regenerative braking device, by eliminating the influence of a charging current to the oscillation of the meter at the time of braking. CONSTITUTION:Usually, the terminal voltage of a battery TB is detected by a current detector S and displayed on the meter M of a display section 8 through a voltage holding circuit 5 after a voltage corresponding to the voltage drop amplified by a discharging current amplifier 2 is added at an adder 4. When a regenerative braking device starts operation and a charging current is made to flow to the terminal of the battery TB, a charging current amplifier 6 outputs through a current detecting section S and, when the output is higher than a fixed level, the output of a comparator 7 becomes high level and the output from the adder 4 is interrupted by conducting a relay RY2 and, thereafter, the voltage holding circuit holding the voltage at the time drives the display section 8 and makes the meter M to display the voltage. Therefore, the deflection of the meter M does not receive any influences from the charging current. |
