PURPOSE:To increase the transmitted light of a solid-state image pickup element and to prevent the generation of stray light and interference by adhering the image pickup element and a color filter together with an adhesive which has a specific refractive index. CONSTITUTION:The adhesive which has the refractive index n2 satisfying an inequality I , II, or III (where n1 is the refractive index of the color filter and n3 is the refractive index of the surface protection surface of the image pickup element) is used. A selection among said inequalities I -III is made according to the most important characteristic that the solid-state image pickup element requires. |
