PURPOSE:To obtain the titled container wherein the shoulder and bottom sections do not have superfluous thickness, by heating a resin pipe the thickness of the opposite sides of which is thinner than the intermediate part for example by a heating mandrel or the like, forming a bottom section to the resin pipe at one end thereof by a pressing device and a mouth section thereto at the other end, and stretching the resin pipe by blowing or the like. CONSTITUTION:The opposite pipe ends 31, 33 of the polyester resin pipe 30 comprise pipe and adjacent sections 32, 34 that are gradually made thinner, that is, the pipe 30 comprises a uniform wall thickness section 35 having a thickness t3 and the pipe ends 31, 33 having a thickness of t1, t2. After the pipe 30 is put on a heating mandrel 17 and is heated, the pipe bottom section 12 is formed at one end of the pipe by the pressing device 18 or the like to obtain a bottomed element pipe 13. The open end, that is, the other end, is clamped and is formed with the container mouth section 21, the pipe 13 is stretched longitudinally, and thereafter or at the same time, the pipe 13 is blown to be stretched radially to obtain the container 20 whose shoulder section 22 and bottom section 25 has no superfluous thickness. |
