PURPOSE:To obtain a general composite facsimile device by selecting in an alternative way an input device sending picture information data from an original and an input device converting data from an external apparatus into picture information data and sending the converted data. CONSTITUTION:When destination information is obtained from an operation panel 10, a transmission controlling part 13 connects a circuit to a destination to be transmitted, starts a reading scanning part 5, encoding the picture information data read out of the original and then sends the encoded data to the circuit through a MODEM11 and a network controlling device 12. A controlling part 13 receives the data of the external apparatus which are obtained from an information input device 1 through a display controlling device 2 and a facsimile interface 4. In addition, the controlling part 13 transmits a dial signal to the destination to be transmitted which is specified on the basis of the inputted starting signal and a destination information signal through the device 12 and displays 14 the destination. The device 13 transmits in an alternative way the information input device 1 automatically by using a synchronizing signal and also transmits data from the original manually. |
