PURPOSE:To omit the useless registration to improve the workability as well as to reduce the transaction time of articles, by discriminating the forcible registration from the conditional registration after deciding whether a prescribed input is needed in accordance with the type of operation. CONSTITUTION:When the type of transaction (the sale, adjustment and inspection) is fed through a key input means 1, the type of operation is decided by a transaction deciding means 2. A correspondence table 7 between the transaction and the conditions of registration is retrieved via an input decision request means 3. Based on this result of retrieval, whether or not the input is needed for the clerk number is switched. Then the prescribed processing is carried out by making use of an exclusive mode flag storing area 4, a clerk number storing area 5 and a clerk number shunting area 7. For instance, when the same clerk has an operation related to the sale, the clerk number is registered just at the first time. Thus the registration of the clerk number is omitted at and after the second time. The clerk number is forcibly registered with the first input for the adjustment and inspection or the change of clerks. Thus the useless registration is eliminated to improve the workability. Therefore this system is suited to a department store, etc. |
