PURPOSE:To obtain a variable volume pump in which the volume of the chambers of a cylinder separated by a partition plate fitted to a rotor can be varied by enabling the axial movement of said rotor, eccentrically provided in said cylinder and having several movable vanes radially on its outer periphery. CONSTITUTION:Several movable vanes 7 radially provided on a rotor 5 are kept pressed against the inner wall of a cylinder 4 while being rotated due to the rotation of the pulley 1 and shaft 2 of the rotor 5 which is eccentrically provided in a cylinder 4. And fluid is introduced from an inlet 8 and discharged from an outlet. due to the variation in the volume of the spaces formed between the inner wall of the cylinder 4 and each movable vane 7. A partition plate 6 is concentrically fitted to the rotor 5, dividing the inside of the cylinder 4 into two chambers 3 and 9. This enables the volume of the chambers 3 and 9 to be varied by axially moving the rotor 5 through the shaft 2 using a lever, etc. A valve 10, which can simultaneously open and close the inlet 8 and the outlet is installed in alignment with the rotor 5. |
