PURPOSE:To contrive an increase in the diameter and radiating area of a disk, by forming a disk rotor into a unific construction in a way of making it project over a radial inward direction from a rim part of a load wheel. CONSTITUTION:When a brake pedal is stepped on, a brake pad 21 is pressed down by a disk 18. In consequence, the kinetic energy of a vehicle is converted into heat energy by friction lying between the brake pad 21 and the disk 18, and part of this heat energy is transmitted to a caliper 19 via the brake pad 21 but the rest of it is stored in the disk 18 and radiated to the open air. At this time, since the disk 19 is formed together with a load wheel 13 as one body, its radiating area comes large and also since the disk is being projected from a rim part 16, the disk 18 is able to take a large diameter, so that an increase in the quantity of radiation of heat and a step-up in braking force both are well promoted and a reduction in the number of items of parts available is brought to fruition owing to the unific construction. |
