In order to meet advantageously the demands of extended practical service in the case of a pump body, particularly with a view to the elimination of damage, adaptability to various requirements and/or versatility and durability conditions, it is proposed that the pump body (4) be subdivided into individual, detachably interconnected parts (13, 14, 15, 16, 17) essentially according to areas with differing operating pressure conditions.
