A roll trailer, in particular for ships' holds, having a loading surface whose rear end is assigned travel rollers or the like and at whose end side traction elements for coupling to a traction engine are provided, is to be equipped in such a way that it is suitable as a transport vehicle for relatively long distances and roads with an unfirm surface. For this purpose, a platform (3), which can be moved on pneumatic tyres (4), for the roll trailer (30) with control elements (18,21) holding its rollers (31) is provided, this platform (3) forming a running-up ramp in an inclined position of rest and it being possible to transfer it from this position of rest by rotation about a support axle (10) into a travel position in which it rests against the roll trailer (30). At the same time, the platform (3) with the support axle (10) is rotatably suspended between the two wheel rockers (7). The latter produce, together with the platform (3) and a roll trailer (30), a mobile unit which satisfies the requirements in accordance with the objective. <IMAGE>
