PURPOSE:To feed dry air to a desired place of a copying machine securely and to regenerate silica gel without replacing it, by providing plural chambers and performing humidification and dehumidification. CONSTITUTION:Air from an air generation source 16 is admitted into the chamber 2 of a container 1 from a pipe 15 to absorb moisture by the silica gel and then, hot air is fed through a pipe 23 to supply the dry air to the desired part of the copying machine. The silica gel 5 in the other chamber 3 which has lost its dehumidifying function is supplied with a hot air from a hot air generator 14 through a pipe 13. The hot air is discharged from a pipe 4. Thus, the silica gel 5 is regenerated. When the silica gel 6 in the chamber 2 loses its moisture absorbing function after specific-time moisture absorption, a motor 17 is driven to rotate a driving gear 18, gear 19, and shaft 21, and then the silica gel is moved onto the pipe 13 to recover its function. The silica gel 5 after the function recovery is present over the pipe 15. |
