PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of S/N of a reproduced sound and at the same time to ensure an optimum level of reproduction, by recording the reproduction level information of digital information in a redord mode and controlling the reproduction level of digital information in accordance with the reproduction level in a reproduction mode. CONSTITUTION:In a record mode the audio signal of the music to be recorded to an audio disk is turned into the digital audio information through pulse code demodulation. This audio information is recorded together with the reproduction level information of the corresponding music. Then in a reproduction mode, the recorded digital audio information and reproduction level information are read by a pickup and at the same time distinguished from each other by a processing circuit 4. Then a switch 8b is changed over via a reproduction level information processing circuit 5 to vary the gain of an amplifier 8a. Thus a reproduced sound having a level corresponding to the original sound level of a record mode is obtained. This prevents the deterioration of S/N of a reproduced sound and at the same time ensures the reproduction of an optimum level. |
