PURPOSE:To prevent wrinkle propagation, by a method wherein an ink sheet directed to a recording part is tensioned by a tension roller which is, in turn, arranged so as to be brought close to the recording part and the linear part of the ink sheet is shortened as possible. CONSTITUTION:A second unit U2 constitutes the conveying path of an ink sheet I. Tension rollers 21, 27 are provided to the side plate 2 of the second unit U2 and pintch rollers 28, 29 are provided. A thermal head 23 is mounted to a support member 22 while a tension roller 25 and a separation roller 26 are provided. |
