<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the driving device and enable display of handwriting of a continuous line, by using liquid crystal material that retains display even after removing the driving signal as a device for monitoring handwriting. CONSTITUTION:When a writing pen 25 is moved on a liquid crystal display board 26, positional coordinate of the writing pen 25 is detected by a coordinate detecting device 3. At the same time, the liquid crystal area right under the writing pen 25 becomes a state of display. When the writing pen 25 pass through the liquid crystal display board 26 once, the crystal area right under the writing pen 25 becomes a state of display, and the state is retained. Accordingly, a locus of movement of the writing pen is written successively and retained. Erasing can be done by impressing erasing voltage of an erasing signal oscillator 29 to the whole surface using an electrode board 28 for erasing.</p> |
