PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. with marked resistance to oxidative deterioration and accelerated deterioration caused by the presence of heavy metals, by incorporating hydrazine derivatives with org. materials. CONSTITUTION:A stabilized org. material compsn. contg. 100pts.wt. org. material and 0.001-5pts.wt. hydrazine derivative of formula I (wherein R is a group of formula II, formula III; X is H, a group of formula IV; Y is a group of formula IVwhen V is H or vice versa; R1 is acyl; R2 and R3 are H, alkyl, aryl). Org. materials such as hydrocarbon oils, synthetic resins, or rubber suffer decomposition and deterioration by supplying energies such as heat, light, or oxygen from outside. Heavy metals such as Mn, Co, Cu, or Fe in the form of ions or complex compds. exert a catalytic action by which said reaction is increasingly accelerated. Incorporation of said hydrazine derivatives prevents deterioration and enables stabilization. |
