PURPOSE:To obtain an image forming material capable of forming an optional sharp color through a simple operation, by forming an image forming layer consisting mainly of a photosensitive diazo compd., a light-colored or colorless dye precursor, and an adhesive. CONSTITUTION:Photosensitive paper is obtained by coating high quality paper size pressed with carboxymethyl cellulose, with a coating composition consisting of about 90pts. acetone as a solvent; about 1pt. 4-diazo-2,5-dimethoxyphenylmorpholine.BF4 as a diazo compd.; about 0.5pt. violet lactone as a dye precursor; and about 10pts. polyvinyl butyral as an adhesive, so as to form about 2g solid/m<2>, and drying it. A sharp blue image is obtained on a yellow background by imagewise processing the photosensitive paper thus obtained with an extra- high pressure mercury lamp, and various color tones can be obtained by changing a combination of the diazo compd. and the dye precursor, and yet, the imagewise processing operation is not troublesome. |
