PURPOSE:To make it possible to form a yoke into a compact shape with a lightweight member such as a thin sheet, etc., by turning a cylinder block while inclining it by means of a yoke equipped with a pushing part making close contact with a changeover mechanism. CONSTITUTION:When changing the volume of a hydraulic rotary machinery, oil fluid is supplied into and exhausted from a cylinder 42, and a control piston 43 is displaced through sliding. Hereby, an inclined driving shaft 41 is pressed, and a yoke 36 is turned about supporting shafts 38A, 38B. A valve block 32 is forcedly moved toward pushing parts 40A, 40B following the rotation of the yoke 36, allowed to slide along the slide surface 34, and along with this sliding, the inclination angle of the cylinder block 3 against a rotary shaft 2, i.e., an inclinated rotary angle is changed, allowing its volume to be changed.
