PURPOSE:To prevent the fan from stalling or being damaged by the stall by reducing the fluid frictional loss of a fluid deflector and preventing the separation of the fluid. CONSTITUTION:The relationship among the distance L between the border line 3b between the plane of a fluid deflector 3 in the radial direction and the surface of the same deflector having a curvature, and the rotary-shaft surface 4s, the inside diameter D of a cylindrical frame having the inlet and outlet for fluid, and the outside diameter (d) of the rotary shaft 4, is define by 0.8<=L/ (D-d)<=1. So long as the relationship of the above equation is maintained when fluid flows along the deflector 3, the fluid is smooth to flow, the fluid frictional loss is reduced, the fluid is prevented from being separated, the fan efficiency is improved, and the fan becomes hard to stall, preventing the fan from being damaged by the stall. |
