PURPOSE:To reduce the quantity of fresh water necessary for a hydraulic test and to shorten a process, by filling the fresh water in a space of the lower part of an inclined bottom plate having a complicated shape and filling sea water in a liquid storing space of the upper part of the inclined bottom plate having a simplified shape and a large volume and isolating both spaces by a pressure communicating room provided to the outer circumference of said inclined bottom plate. CONSTITUTION:A space A' is provided with various kinds of members for joining an inclined bottom plate 2 and a flat bottom 1a of a tank and a subsequent cleaning is very difficult in case of filling of sea water. But the subsequent cleaning is easy in case of filling of fresh water because ventilation after descharging water serves as an aid. Fresh water W is poured into the space A' of the lower part of the bottom plate 2 and is filled up to a level near the upper end of an upward side wall 2' of the bottom plate of a pressure communicating room B. Next, sea water S is filled into a liquid storing space C' of the bottom plate 2 to a desired height to carry out a hydraulic test. After the hydraulic test is finished, the sea wate S in the space C' is discharged from a discharge pipe 4 firstly and thereafter, the surface in contact with the sea water is washed by the fresh water and is dried. The washing water flows down along the wall face and the bottom plate 2 and is discharged efficiently from the center of the bottom face of the bottom plate 2 through the discharge pipe 4. |
