PURPOSE:To achieve optimum driving modes at all times withut increase of burden on the part of driver by modulating the shift pattern by micro computer in the automatic transmission which has a capability of changing to multiple shift patterns. CONSTITUTION:In step 3, the existing shift pattern is judged whether or not it is the economy pattern E. If YES, the process is advanced to step 4 to change the shift pattern to the normal pattern N which yields high power, and then the return command is executed. If the judgement is NO, the process is advanced to step 5. In step 5, judgement is done whether or not the existing shift pattern is the normal pattern N. If YES, the process is advanced to step 6 to change the shift pattern to the power pattern P which yields still more power, and then the return command is executed. If the judgement is NO, the return command is executed right away to return to the main routine which is not shown in the diagram. |
