PURPOSE:To enable to instantaneously restart a printing operation in a favorable condition, by providing a driving means for rotating a form damping roller and an inking roller at circumferential speeds equal to those before separating them from a printing plate surface, when separating said rollers from the printing plate surface. CONSTITUTION:When interrupting a printing operation due to unappropriate feeding of a paper, replacement of a printing plate or the like, a supporting arm 27 for the form damping roller 13 is rotated with a bearing 19 for a water distributor 12 as a center by a cam 29 provided on a shaft 28, thereby separating the roller 13 from the printing plate surface, and thereafter rotation of a form cylinder 10 is stopped. A switch 32 is turned ON by a projecting piece 31 provided on the shaft 28, the driving means 25 is started, and the second clutch gear 24 starts to be rotated. Simultaneously with this, a magnet driver 33 is also started, rotates a lever 23 by cooperating with a spring 34, moves the clutch 20 in the axial direction, thereby separating the clutch 20 from the first clutch gear 18, and engages the clutch 20 to the second clutch gear 24, whereby the turning force of the driving means 25 is transmitted to a shaft 17 of the roller 12, and the rollers 12 and 13 are rotated. |
