<p>PURPOSE:To shorten the movement distance of operator's eyes and to relieve operator's fatigue in input operation, by displaying an image of an input original on a picture display part. CONSTITUTION:When the input original is inputted to a picture information input part 12, its picture information is stored in a picture information buffer memory part 19. The operator reads the KANA and KANJI mixed writing on the picture display part 18, i.e. input original silently and inputs KANJI (Chinese character) parts in KANA (Japanese syllabary) on a keyboard operation part 13. In this case, a KANJI specifying key 21 is depressed before and after the KANA input. The KANA-KANJI conversion processing in a center control part 11 starts in response to said depression. Consequently, character pattern information is read out of a character font memory part 17 and the picture information is stored in a picture information buffer memory 19'. A picture information control part 16 ORs pieces of picture information in memory parts 19 and 19' and stores the results in a picture information buffer memory part 19''. Then the operator selects a picture to be displayed on the display part 18 with a selection key.</p> |
