1. Seat with an articulated seat back, particularly for automobiles, comprising a seat (1) of thermoplastic material moulded by injection, a seat back (2) provided with at least one pivoting axle (10) on the seat (1) mounted in the side walls (9) of the rear portion of the seat and a pivoting system which comprises a toothed sector (14) which engages with a declutchable cam roll (13) to block the adjustable seat back in position, means for fixing (6, 7) said seat to the structure of the vehicle being also provided, which seat is characterised in that said pivoting system, integrated with the seat (1) is completely concealed with the respect to the outside, said seat (1) comprising at its rear portion side walls (9, 11) raised with respect to the rest of the seat (1), which completely envelope the base of the seat back (2) as well as the toothed sector (14) fastened to said base of the seat back, in that the declutchable cam roll (13) which is housed in a housing (12) formed from moulding, arranged by moulding in a side wall of the seat (1) and in that the articulation axle (10) is received in orifices (8) formed by moulding in at least one of said side walls (8, 11). |
