PURPOSE:To enable cooling, heating and dehumidifying and various combination of said three functions in one air conditioner, by providing a first and second variable damper which induce air from an inlet to a cooler and a heater, and a third and fourth variable damper which induce air having passed through the cooler and heater to a blow-off port. CONSTITUTION:When the inside of a room is heated, on the side of a cooling room 4 above a partition wall 2 variable damper 13, 15 close the indoor side W1 so that only air of the outdoors W2 passes through a cooler 3 to be discharged again to the outdoors W2. A heating room 6 under the partition wall 2 is closed in the side of the outdoors W2 and has variable dampers 14 and 16 set so that the indoor air is circulated through the inside of the room and the air conditioner. Accordingly,the air in the room W1 is passed from an inlet 9 into the air conditioner and passed through a heater 5 to be heated and blown off again into the inside of the room W1. When the inside of the room W1 is cooled, the indoor side W1 of the cooling room 4 is opened on the contrary and the variable dampers 13-16 are set so as to close the side of the heating room 6. And in the case of dehumidification, the variable dampers 13-16 are set so as to open the indoor side W1 and close the outdoors side W2.
