PURPOSE:To obtain correct data by providing the 1st comparing means for comparing the contents stored in the 1st and 2nd storage areas, the 2nd comparing means for comparing the contents stored in the 3rd and 4th storage areas and a data reading means for reading out the contents stored in the pair of the storage areas on the incident side. CONSTITUTION:At the time of reading, the contents stored in the 1st storage area A are compared with that of the 2nd storage area B, and if Anot equal to B, the contents stored in the 3rd storage area C are compared with that of the 4th storage area D. In case of C=D, the contents stored in the 3rd storage area C are read out as the data of a self-diagnosed result. Even if a writing defect is generated at the OFF of a CPU side power supply, correct data are backed up and offered by detecting the generation of the defect.
