PURPOSE:To prevent under-welding and over-welding from occurring and consequently uniformly join by welding at all times by a method wherein the energizing to the heater is started in linking with the closing action of a welding piece and stopped when the welding piece penetrates the polymerized zone of the thermoplastic synthetic resin material by fusing. CONSTITUTION:Firstly a pressing plate 16 is lifted by pushing down a knob 52. Secondly the polymerized zone of a polypropylene band is interposed. Thirdly, when the knob 52 is released from its pushed-down state, the polymerized zone is pinchingly pressed between the pressing plate 16 and a supporting plate 14 by the elastic force of a compression spring 54. Fourthly. when a chip 36 is pressed, the welding piece 12 starts to lower and at the same time an angle member 28 also starts to lower, resulting in releasing the lever of a microswitch 56 fixed on a lever member 46 from its state being pushed and consequently turning the switch 56 on in order to energize a heater 26. Accordingly, the welding piece 12 is heated and melts and penetrates the polymerized zone of the polypropylene band in order to finish the joining by welding. After penetrating the polymerized zone, the welding piece 12 comes into mechanical contact with the supporting plate 14 so as to make the conduction between circuit terminals T1 and T2 in order to stop the energizing of the heater 26. |
