PURPOSE:To decrease the number of inter-system confounding signal lines and to ensure the economical use of connectors provided at the front of a package, by sharing the inter-system confounding signal line for a duplicated constitution system. CONSTITUTION:The bidirectional communication is performed with an internal data line of the inter-system confounding signal line. At the same time, an error register REG is divided into two parts, i.e., a lower data (4 bits) and an upper data (4 bits) respectively. The lower data or sometimes the upper data is supplied to the inter-system confounding signals lines equivalent to 4 bits. In such a way, the inter-system confounding signals are shared and the signals are transmitted in time division. Thus the number of inter-system confounding signal lines is decreased. |
