<p>Process comprises reaction of guanine with excess hexamethyl disilazane under reflux conditions in an inert atmosphere, for elimination of the excess through low pressure distillation. Pptn. by addn. of an aromatic hydrocarbon, for sepn. by filtration and addn. of a tert. amine and of a soln. of chloromethyl vinyl ether in the hydrocarbon, is followed by reflux heating and elimination of the solvent. - Reaction with sodium borohydrate and boron trifluoride etherate, is then followed by addn. of water and treatment with an aq. soln. of sodium hydroxide and hydrogen peroxide, giving the deriv. of formula (I).</p> |
