<p>Grassmower provided with an electric motor housed in a downwardly open casing with a perpendicular axis, with a two-bladed knife fixed to the motor shaft, as well as with a bar or a bow hinged to the casing and used for its handling. The invention is a combination of the following characteristics: a) the electric motor (1) is a high speed motor of which the number of revolutions per minute goes from 6000 to 10.000; b) the blade is a propeller blade (9, 9a) which exerts an upward suction activity in parallel to the motor shaft; c) the diameter of the cutting circle defined by the blade (9, 9a) is comprised between 140 and 200mm; d) between the motor (1) and the blade (9, 9a) there is provided on the motor shaft (7) a ventilation wheel (8, 8a) which blows to the motor (1) sucked cooling air (22) into a blowing channel (11) which is concentric with respect to the motor shaft; e) for its motion, there are provided on the handle or the bow side of the casing (5) two rollers or wheels (10), as well as one or a plurality of pads (6) secured to the end of the casing and extending under the blade (9, 9a). </p> |
