<p>In a port-controlled, high speed, two-stroke internal combustion engine, with crank-case scavenging, provided with at least one cylinder having at least one suction channel and one suction port, with each time at least one exhaust channel with one exhaust port and with at least one scavenging channel with one inlet port, wherein the suction, exhaust and inlet ports are arranged on the inner side of the cylinder, the geometrical configuration of the suction channel port and/or the exhaust channel (6) enables to reduce the noise produced by the engine throughout its range of rotation speeds while increasing the engine power and simultaneously improving its specific fuel consumption. </p> |
