PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of trouble caused by recording without paper, by detecting that a recording chart has reached the recording position, and attaining recording. CONSTITUTION:When the recording sheet 3 is inserted to upper/lower guides 11-3, 11-4 for facsimile recording, a sheet detector 24 detects it and a detecting signal is transmitted to a control section 40. A solenoid 25-3 is driven via a driving circuit 41 after the tip of the sheet 3 has reached sufficiently the recording position, and the sheet 3 is clipped between roller pairs 25-1 and 25-2. The control section 40 drives a motor M via a driving circuit 43 to carry the sheet 3 to a position pressed with a recording head 4 between a platen 5 and a transfer sheet 2. When the sheet 3 is transmitted normally to a prescribed position, the roll 25-1 rotates for a prescribed number. A revolution number detector 25-4 reports the rotation of the roll 25-1 to the control section 40. The control section 40 controls the recording head 4 via the driving section 42. |
